What's on my camera...

This is what is on my camera....I'm happy to say that it is all within the month. I seem to usually wait a few months until I download pics.

October is Fire Prevention Month as I'm sure all of you know. We went down to the fire station and rode on the fire trucks. It's something my girls look forward to, who wouldn't?!

Our nephew/cousin, Graham got baptized! It was such a fun day. My sister from Arizona and her family got to come up, so it was fun being all together. We missed those that weren't there!=(

I'm sure those of you not from Delta wonder what it's like here! Well it's a 50 minute drive just to the freeway, the scenery isn't anything great and if your lucky you'll be late for an appointment in Provo (90 minutes away) and get stuck in this for a good 30 minutes. You never know it might be cows one day and sheep the next.

Yes, those are the cows going across the road. There were hundreds of them. At least this time we were far enough away they weren't trying to lick my windows. I really do love small towns, even if I have to wait for the cow to cross the road!

We took the kids up to a pumpkin patch. They had so much fun. Of course they had to pick the two biggest pumpkins. We could of got 5 at Wal-Mart for the price of these babies! But it was fun to go and do and they loved it.


Aaron got his first hair cut the other day. No I didn't take the camera and no I didn't save any of his hair. Such a good mom! He sure looks handsome though!

Happy 30th Birthday!

Brian turned 30 this past weekend. Ahhh, we are getting so old! At least I'm not 30....yet! Anyway, we went up to Tooele Friday night and had a surprise party for him. It was so fun! He was more like shocked! He couldn't believe that I could actually keep a secret from him for that long. On Saturday Bri and I went into Conference, ate lunch with my mom and dad and their friends and then went and bought some new suits for Bri. We spent the rest of the weekend just hanging out. It was so much fun. Bri is such a wonderful husband/dad. A day never goes by that he doesn't make me laugh. I wish I could really express how wonderful he is and how much he means to me. He's just absolutley the best! Happy Birthday Bri we sure love you!

So much to catch up on

This summer flew by and I have had no time to blog. So there is a lot of catching up to do.

First, I ran my first half marathon at Hobble Creek. Now that it is over it was a lot of fun. I'm not sure how fun I thought it was during, but I'm so glad I did it and it won't be my last one. I went with a bunch of friends from Delta and we made it a girls weekend.
Brian and the kids and my mom and dad were there cheering me on. Brian has been so good to help me out with all the times I go running and the early mornings it makes for both of us! I sure love him!

We saw our good friends Jeff and Mark. Brian got a picture with them. They were way to fast for me, so I saw them at the beginning and then at the end where they had been waiting forever I'm sure!

Later that day Britt, Josh and Jackson flew in and we got to spend the weekend with them. It was so fun to see them. Caitlin could not get enough of Jackson....or Josh! She sure loves them!

They were able to bless Jackson since Josh's family was in Utah also. Ahh, good times! I love being with my family and with all my sisters living so far away it's always fun when they come to visit!

It was so fun to be with everyone. I wish it could happen more often! We sure love you Brit and Josh and little Jackson!

Quincee's "firsts"

Quincee lost her first tooth on Monday. She was more than excited til we started pulling on it. It finally came out and she cried. Not because it hurt, but because she was so excited! At least that's what she said!

Wednesday was her first day of first grade. FIRST GRADE!! I still can't believe it! We've sent her to two years of preschool, full day kindergarten, and now first grade and this was the hardest time I had letting her go. I love having her home with me. But she loves her teacher and was really excited to go back today. She is such a good girl! I'm sure I'll get use to it and stop crying one of these days.

I don't know who missed her more me, Cait, or Aaron! Aaron was sure happy to have her home playing with him. We sure love our Quincee Ann!

Summer is coming to an end

I'm sad to say our summer is almost over. I'm not sure if I want Quincee going back to school. I love having her home with me. She is such a big helper. But she is way excited. We didn't get to do much this summer with Brian in school, but we were able to make a trip up to Bear Lake. So here's the story...every year we go up to Bear Lake with my mom and dad and my brother and his family. And for the past 4 years one of my kids have either thrown up in the car on the way there, at wal-mart in Logan, or at the cabin. So this year we thought we would get lucky and we planned on going up Thursday morning. Well Quincee wakes up with a stomach ache. We thought she was just excited, plus she always has a stomach ache, but a few minutes later she was throwing up and so sick. I felt so bad for her. But to make a long story short the next morning she was feeling better so we headed up and are glad we did. It is always so much fun.

It wouldn't be Bear Lake without s'mores. Kris brought some peanut butter cups to put on them. Yummy!

Aaron was so good there. We let him feel the sand and he actually liked it. He really doesn't like different textures but he is getting better and he didn't mind it.

Brian is such a good dad. He gets to go camping a lot with the scouts and the girls are always wanting to go. We never got to do our own camping trip so he pitched the tent and they slept out in the backyard. The girls loved it.

For FHE the other night Quincee thought it would be fun to have a water fight. Brian thought it would be fun to be boys against girls. Well us girls were soaked and Brian had a few drops on him. But it was still a lot of fun.

Happy Birthday Aaron

I know you say it with each kid you have, but I REALLY can't believe that Aaron is one already! What a year it's been! Aaron is seriously the sweetest thing ever! He is always smiling! He hardly ever cries and if he is fussing all you have to do is say his name and he gets the biggest grin. Oh what would we do without him?!

We didn't know what kind of cake to make him, since he could really care less. So we went with good old BYU. It turned out ok. Aaron wasn't to sure of the cake. His mouth is really sensitive to different textures, so the cake was definitely not his favorite.

We let him play with his cake for awhile. After he was done he didn't realize it was all over his hands so this is what he ended up looking like.

Aaron is such a strong boy. He's already had a lot of trials and set backs in his first year of life, but he is such a trooper. Seeing the strength he has is incredible. He has made us step back and see life from a different view. Our lives will forever be changed, but we couldn't be happier. I thank my Heavenly Father every day for sending me this extra special spirit. Happy Birthday Buddy! We sure love you!

Lots to catch up on

It has been so crazy here lately. It seems like the month of June came and went. We were able to do some fun things, even if we weren't all together. So here is what has been going on...yes there will be a lot of pics!

Aaron and I got to go to Arizona to visit my sister and her family. Chelsea had been up here for my dad's 60th birthday party. Yikes 60!! So I drove back with her and her 3 kids. It actually wasn't bad. Her kids do great traveling, but I was a little nervous about Aaron and how he would do. But he was great! He seriously didn't make a peep unless he was talking (that's baby talk!). I was so glad. I on the other hand wasn't much help. I get car sick so bad that I decided to talk a pill before we left so I wouldn't be throwing up. I only took half of one because they make me so tired. Well I didn't throw up but I sure was knocked out. So much for helping Chels drive. I was so out of it. I felt bad, but she got us home safe and sound and I went to bed at 7 that night and slept like a baby!
We just relaxed while I was there, which is exactly what I wanted to do. We did go shopping one day, well for about an hour but that's all the shopping we can stand. We are NOT shoppers! So it was just nice to sit and talk and play with the kids. Aaron and I flew home and he was wonderful on the plane as well. He just sat on my lap and then took a little nap. He is such a good baby. I think I should do a trip like this once a month! I'm sure Brian would go for it!

Brian, Quincee, and Caitlin went to Lagoon with Bri's family. They had a great time. Quincee went on the white roller coaster for the first time and I don't think she will ever do it again. Brian wasn't sure if she was going to throw up or pass out! But after she got over the shocked she had a great time. Caitlin went crazy and went on all the rides she could. She's starting to get more daring the older she gets. They sure had fun!

Thanks to Heidi who took Quinc on all the rides that spin. It makes me sick just thinking about them but she sure loves them!

After Lagoon Brian had to get back and get ready for scout camp!(for the fourth year in a row. He had a blast!=)) So the girls went camping with Gma and Gpa Allred. You know the kind of camping where you stay in a nice trailer, play at the playground, swim in the pool, the real though camping. They had so much fun!

Quincee caught her first fish(two to be exact!). She was beyond excited. I got a voicemail from her just screaming, she couldn't believe she caught two. Gpa was nice enough to gut them and send them home with her. He's so thoughtful!

Now on to the fourth of July. We love staying in Delta for the fourth. There's something about small towns that make it so much fun. It started the night before with the kids parade. The girls were so excited to decorate their bikes and ride down the street. The parade is over in about 5 minutes because all the kids ride as fast as they can.

Brian pushed Aaron in the stroller so he could go next to Cait. She ate it up. She thought everyone was there to see her and waved the whole time. She's so funny!

After the kids parades we had to stop at out new favorite spot for a refreshin snow cone!

And what would the fourth be without the demolition derby?! The girls love it. Nothing like cheering on someone to crash their car so bad that it either rolls or starts on fire! Exciting! It's always a long tiring day, but a lot of fun.

Okay last part. Yesterday Brian and I took the kids to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple open house. It was so fun. The girls just loved it. It was so fun to go and do something like this. They both can't wait to be married in the temple. It was beautiful!

That was a lot, but I think I'm caught up. No promises about keeping up on this though. This will do for awhile.
